These are the packing supplies needed and things that need to be done prior to moving to a new home. This home move packing list also includes things to do when you arrive at your new residence.
  • Pack all items not used regularly into boxes and label with detailed description. Write name of room where they belong.
  • Inform post office of new address.
  • Cover un-used clothing in closet with clear, extra large garbage bags and store in closet until moving day.
  • Store important papers in a secure location where they will not get mixed in with other boxes.
  • Change address with utility companies, banks and credit card companies, library, schools, membership clubs, etc.
